I was taught at the Body Health Centre in Cape Town and I qualified in October 2005. To qualify and to get to know the intricacies of the human body, it was imperative that I had lots of practical hands-on experience during that time. For the theory part I studied Anatomy and Physiology.
What causes our body to get out of balance?
Very often stress gets stored in the body instead of being released and processed. This stress can be emotional and/or mental which can generate itself from family, financial, workplace or relationship issues. Stress can also be mechanical in some cases, such as physical trauma from a car accident, a severe fall or from lifting heavy objects incorrectly.
As the stress increases in the body it becomes less able to deal with daily life stress. It moves away from a balance and health.
The process for the return of balance & harmony
By doing tests on the body and reading its reflex response, I am able to facilitate releasing any blockages. It is like we have our foot on a hosepipe and when we remove the foot it releases and allows the natural flow of the body to exist. I release tension along the spinal cord, hips and pelvis. This then clears the communication channel between the brain and the rest of the body.
After treatment there is a return of well-being, balance and harmony.
